In less than 30 days of operation, The Inveterate Veteran has gone from 0 (alright... let's be honest, 1 like by me its founder) to over 1,000 likes! We have brought on some great contributors whose articles are being shared around the internet. But more importantly, from a lot of the feedback that we are receiving, The Inveterate Veteran is helping the veteran and military community by being an unbiased, tell it how it is outlet for them, that focuses on their stories, their perspectives and their successes.

Phantoms And Wisps Of Air

You have to remember where you’ve come from. All too often in the midst of life, we forget how far we have actually come. We forget what we have had to endure, what we have worried about, and from where we started.  The only thing that remains with us is the weight of the choices and sacrifices that we have made and since we do not readily remember the conditions in which we lived when we chose to sacrifice, the weight of our sacrifices weigh on us even more.

The Department of Veterans Affairs' Solution to the Backlog

Recently a report has surfaced that the Department of Veterans Affairs destroyed veterans' medical records in an effort to eliminate the claims backlog that is plaguing the VA.
