A Father's Advice To His Daughter Upon Her Enlisting During A Time Of War

Do it.

But, you better be prepared to both physically and mentally kick some ass (especially mentally).

Always train with a purpose of violence, but be prepared to be a shield for others.

Don’t be a shit bag. Your brothers and sisters in arms are counting on you.

Know this life truth: Being a shitty soldier is infinitely worse than being a dead one.

When you’re a great soldier, dying in combat won’t be a fear because it’ll hardly be a bad end.

Your ancestors believed dying in combat was the only way to get to heaven.

Keep your head on a swivel. . .

I love you,

Dad
